Mark Noakes, Director Operational Excellence Coca Cola Enterprises
Jen Moran
It's important for us to spend time getting to know your business and how we can develop a tailored approach for your team. Here, Mark talks about how we created a balanced service that fitted across all the layers of Coca Cola Enterprises.
What was your business need?
"We needed to transition our business approach to one focussed on continuous improvement, continuous learning and empowered people - We needed a way of engaging our teams more effectively and give them the ability to think and act for themselves more dynamically and effectively."
Why did you choose Nudge?
"Nudge demonstrate the correct balance of technical know how, subject matter expertise and ability to convey this in a straight forward, understandable way. Nudge managed to position themselves such that they fully understood the need and developed an approach that fitted our requirements fully and crossed different layers of the business perfectly."
What did they do?
"Nudge helped develop a capability and culture diagnostic which they supported us to deploy - the findings were then assessed and simple effective solutions were created to help us close the gap from our 'as is' state to our 'desired future' state. They worked closely with us to run workshops, training, deliver coaching, help develop our long term methodology and facilitated a number of sessions."
What was the result?
"The results were great - we had a great understanding about our strengths and weaknesses linked to our capability and culture, we had a road map to close the gaps and improve the position and we developed our teams along the way. Our engagement scores rose and we saw improvements in productivity, quality, attendance and our CI journey became sustainable and driven by the teams."
Mark is now Head of Castle Donington EDC/NDC, Marks & Spencer, and currently engaging Nudge.
